Latest batch of work on the Hive!
I reworked Molly a bit, correcting her anatomy slightly. But most importantly, I added new poses and outfits.
The diaper has the same patterns as Tamiko's, and the onesie and sleeping bag complement each other as well.
I want the sprites to look right and avoid having to come back later for heavy editing. That's why progress on characters is so slow.
Some are on their 4th or 6th iteration. Each time, the design gets a little bit better until I'm happy with what I've got.
In this spirit, another character was reworked: Iris! Her design and outfit have been completely overhauled.
Since Ms. Melrose is going to be quite an old-fashioned nanny, it would be cool to reflect that in the design of all her charges. So, I'm eager to redesign the two other girls under her wing!
Finally, here are more sketches from Vaabs!
These ones are going to be used for a TV show called 'Lil'Lamby,' featuring a cartoon lamb teaching Juvies about proper 'Juvie etiquette.'
And that's about it for today! Next week, I'll probably continue redesigning the girls from Ms. Melrose's house.
