Forget it... I´am blind. I see it made it into the voting pool... But as you stated and I agree, it is up to the patreons to vote what they like. And I think the rest of my argument is still valid: If your idea don´t get many votes, try to change it and try again.

Votes carrying over would not be pratical at all, there's no way to automate it and I would have to keep tracks of all number of votes from one month to the other while keeping track of which characters get the most votes leftovers. Would be a nightmare. But a special timeout for characters that win right after timeout would be an easier solution.

I love how soap hasn’t even announced their extra pick yet, which could totally be your suggestion, but instead you just immediately come in here and complain because you didn’t win.

Seems unfair that my choices don't get a chance.

maybe have a longer time out for more popular characters. like if a character has been upvoted again right after coming off of time out put it on a year timeout instead

Yeah it's really unfortunate but I don't know what the solution would be, votes carrying over does sound like an interesting solution but I think a new character only poll might work better.

Like maybe repeat suggestions can have their votes carry over or something

I kind of think the time out list needs to be extended… as soon as characters come off it they immediately get upvoted again without anyone else even having a chance. The result is just a rotating base of popular characters that are able to get drawn; the only exception being things from franchises that are new/popular (Link). If you don’t care for most of the characters that are in this rotation, it’s gotta suck.

I must say you have a fair point Rich. I don´t like all cartoons art styles, but I respect that someone else does. In the end when Soap adapt them to his own style, I must say everything turn out great even stuff I thought "there is no hope". :-)

It's okay to recognize that other people have tastes different than your own. Not everyone has to enjoy and appreciate the same stuff. That's the beauty of art; that there's something out there for everyone.
