Latest batch of work on the Hive!
I've been sketching another background : The living room of Ms.Sato's house. It's probably going to be the hearth of the house where Jane meet her new "family".
The beginning of the game will mainly take place in the house. It will serve as both an introduction to the universe and as a tutorial.
The first drafts of writing should come this month, I'm very excited to see how it will turn out. We always work as a team with Personalias so you will find, once again, the excellent dialogue quality from Perpetual Change.
I also worked on other outfits for the littles.
First, Charlotte. This snobbish and haughty girl definitely doesn't have very flattering clothes.

I didn't really like the dress so I opted for something more babyish. Instead of throwing away the first outfit, I think I'll use them both.
And second Iris!

As you can see, she doesn't look very bright. She'll be part of the group of the most regressed littles.
I tried to have a green outfit with touches of pink, to have a good harmony with the pacifier. But in the end, I did a blue color swap and it worked much better, so I'll use that version!
Since Ms. Sato's house and her "family" will be an important part of the early stages of the game, I will be focusing entirely on that in the coming months.
I need to make a vanilla and diaperless (boooh!) version of Jane for the start of the game. Her descent into babyhood will be gradual so she'll be wearing casual clothes at first.
I would also like to have a pose variation for Maddie and Lola. But I'm waiting to see these characters interact in the script to better understand their behavior before drawing a pose adapted to each one.
And finally, I'll design two night outfits for Maddie and Lola.
So it's quite a program and there's still a lot more to do for the beginning of the game.
Next week, no work on the Hive. I plan to finally finish these neutral endings for Perpetual Change!
