My succession obsession might influence my opinion of this book but it slapped. I was scared that reading the same story from different POVs would get boring but I was really surprised at how invested I got. The only thing that was mid in my opinion was Mildred part. I was excited to read her part but it did not slap as much as it could have.

2023-07-04 15:55:25 +0000 UTCI rated the book 4.5 because I loved all parts of the book. Writing was so good Diaz is an amazing author. I do like the plot twist bc Andrew Bevel really was just a liar and manipulator and he really has Mildred to thank for all his success. So moral or the story never trust a man ❤️❤️❤️
