Time for a new OC!

I've written many stories over the years involving human female characters. I now feel it's time to introduce a new non-human OC. Making a non-human OC would allow me to stretch my wings as a writer. The plan is to introduce this new character in a standalone/one-off and flesh them out in similar tales before eventually making them the lead character in their own story.

I've had several potential ideas for this new character, ranging from demon to alien, from anthro to orc and wherever in between. Making a new OC is more important than what they are, so I'm letting you decide in a poll. I'm afraid there are so many permutations to what makes a new OC that it'd be impossible to list them all. To that end, some options will be grouped to shorten the list.

I'll let this poll run for a few days before shutting it off. You can vote for as many options as you wish if more than one idea sticks out. That said, may the best choice win.
