Here's the result of today work!
As you know, I'm only working three days a month on Perpetual Change, the last "game day" is for the next project : The Hive!
I did two full bustsets, one of the "nannies" and one of the "littles".
Meet Ms.Sato and a yet unamed character!
I'm having a ton of fun with the character design, it's a lot of trials and errors but the final result is worth it. There's probably some sketchs that are going to be lost as the designs keep evolving. Probably going to redraw or modify some of the characters I already did too!
The idea of the game also get more precise. The game will take place in a non-so distant future in a dystopian society, here's some worldbuilding I wrote weeks ago to give you a taste!
" Rehabilitative justice has gone a bit too far. An alternative prison system is used and administered by the Party for even the most minor crimes and offenses.
The goal is to reform the individual, not better oneself but to change them to the core by making them new individuals. To that end, regressive methods are used. Soft methods are encouraged since the regressive methods have their limits and regression with the good will of the inmate is most effective.
The whole game takes place in one of the “Hive” : an hexagonal prison that doesn’t look like a prison. It looks like a gated community, with a grocery shop, pool, cafeteria, residential houses, park. The whole area doesn't exceed three or four acres and is sky open.
Each hive looks identical. Each hive is composed of four “families” dispatched in four houses. Each family is composed of two to three inmates and their tutor.
Once the inmate leaves, they will be adopted by a new family and raised clean. "
I'm also happy to announce that I'm going to work with Personalias on this next project, fingers crossed!
That's all for today, see you next week!
