[Perpetual Change] CHAPTER 4!

Heya Soap, I tried downloading the game, the RTP, and RPGM XP, but every time I try to open "Game.exe" I get an error: " Script 'custom resolution' line 899 Errno::EACCES occured" I tried googling the error, but nothing came up. Did I break it?

I'm having the same thing. keeps downloading as a media player file and not a game. Did you find a way to fix it?

Seems the chapter 3 potty system still triggers in chapter 4, noticed in addition that if a leak scene triggers just before digging the whole in the corn maze it will take you to vinces bathroom, returning to The hanner sisters house and speaking with their Dad will trigger a short cutscence from chapter 3 and eclair will suddenly join your party again with chapter 3 outfit.

Thanks for the report Just4, it seems like the potty system from Chapter 3 get triggered in Chapter 4 at some point, I'm going to post a fix of the game this wednesday where this problem will hopefully be deal with ;)

And now Eclair has leaked even though she's not with Fiona and the screen turned black... Feels like a pretty major bug 😅

While I was investigating Karlton the cutscene was constantly interrupted by Eclair needing to pee.

in the bad ending that occurs if you make valerie too suspicious the game over screen never appears and the last text box loops

Thanks Batman, happy you like the game! If I remember correctly, you don't receive anything special by becoming a scout, but you can get acess to the Scout Q.G, get your hand on the fish device and get the fish at the Lighthouse!

Thanks ! The relationship system doesn't lead to alternate dialogues. It will have an effect on the ending of the game. Once the game will be done, maybe we'll integrate alternative dialogues depending on the relationship.

You should interact with the Pulse machine when Fiona is in Karlton's lab instead of interacting with the papers or Karlton.

On youtube, there's a playtrhough of the game, inside the documents of the game, there's a file .txt named "GUIDE" with a complete guide of all the sidequests, decisions and choices you can get from Chapter 1 to Chapter 3.

I'm loving the additions you have made so far. Does the relationship system with fiona lead to different dialogue. I remember you mentioning in the past that was too much work. If so i have a lot more playthroughs to do.

There's new little graphics and effects for the intro where previously it was black, new picture for the panel in the mines and Phoenix shop at Port of Triumph that is open for all 4 chapters. The relationship system don't add anything yet, it will play a part at the end of the game.

I've been tooling around a little in the game files. I really like the latest twist in the game. Our of curiosity though, how do you get the Karlton bad end to trigger?

Sorry but what exactly do you mean by chapter 1 being more polished is there anything new? Also for chapter 3 what do you mean by the relationship system. Does that add any new content too! Specifically dialogue

Oh! I noticed that error while playtesting but I guess I totally forgot to edit the text, my bad, yeah, it meant "Chapter 5" instead!

not a bug per se, but at the end of the chapter it says something along the lines of "see you for chapter 4" which im hoping means to say chapter 5

It happens sometimes, even to me, I don't have a good solution, try restart the game while closing others tasks that are runnning on your computer.

There's another dream if Eclair's is at M3 or M4, and you get a different ending to the dream if you loose the puzzle.

Hello Phantom, thanks for the feedback. There's unfortunately no way to make the game window bigger unfortunately. For the problem you're having, did it happen on your first playtrhrought and a second one? Did it happen right after Fiona is out of the Daycare and must go to Mishelle and Vince houses?

You need to right click then click on "extract here", it should work normally, if you're on a phone, download it from your computer instead

I played the game from the start with full maturity and I didn't run into any real problems for most of it and I tried to hit everything. My problem came up when I started Chapter 4 after leaving the daycare after walking for a few minutes an icon popped up saying that Éclair needs to go to the bathroom. This continues all the way until she makes a big mess taking me straight to Vince's house to change her. (All icons and scenes from Chapter 3 were used). Though when this happened you can't continue the game it thinks its back to Chapter 3 and you can't go towards Mishelle's house since the game thinks Éclair is with you. Tried to reload and it still pops up during the time your in Vince's house. After going through the scene it takes you straight to the bathroom and your stuck again. ((Though on a lighter note thanks for putting in the ability to reload straight from the splash screen it's a lot quicker to start the game now. Though I have one question you might have answered this in earlier posts is there a way to make the screen larger maybe not fullscreen, but just a larger area to look at just something I'm curious about)). Overall the game is great thanks for all your hard work.

If you have a save file right before the bathroom sce,e, can you retry and tell me if it works? I download the file and check the scene with RPG Maker and don't see where the problem come from.

At what maturity level are you playing?

The bath scene in chapter 4 is on a endless loop
