[Perpetual Change] Weekly Report #70

Today was a pretty decent day of work! 

I started by working on the sequence following Eclair's wake up, which was pretty heavy on the dialogue side. But any scene including Eclair tends to become massive because of all the different options in Eclair's dialogue depending of her maturity.

If Eclair didn't get changed by Valerie before the nap, she'll get a change by her new friend, who suddenly became much more gentle.

There's a lot of dialogues between the two and Eclair get some interesting memories back. I'd like to also have some flashbacks like that when Eclair see Mona for the first time.

Eclair also discover the previous tributes of the Island. This scene took so long to make due to all the different sprites and interactions between the characters, but I'm happy how that turn out.

The sequence end when Marna get Eclair's back and exit the Daycare, but not without changing Eclair into a new cute outfit. 

From that point, Marna is going to be the lead. You should be free to explore the island again for a little while and we even plan to have a simplified potty system for that part of the chapter.

There's also going to be some little changes here and there in the island, for example, you can see what hapenned after Fiona exploded the barn.

You can also find some other familiar faces.

It's extra and totally optionnal  content. The goal of the Marna segment is going to do two errands before heading home.

I'm not sure to have it ready by the next demo, as it's going to need some heavy playtest to make sure everything is okay but I can only hope!

So, next week I plan on continuing these Marna segment or do some sketches for previous illustrations, I'll see!
