Community Input: Spend a Day with Druthari

The second entry in the Spend a Day series is the mysterious Dark Elf herself, Druthari! If you got to spend an afternoon with her around the campus of WJC, what would you do? What would you ask her, and what would she ask you? What parts of the campus would you hang out in, and what kinds of things would you share? Would you visit any other characters with her along? If so, whom would you visit, and what would you talk about? Would you reveal any secrets to her? Ask her help with something? How would you go about catching her interest?

So let's hear it! What would you do with an afternoon with Druthari?

Ok, I'm gonna preface this with a word to the wise: Please play the game again, and pay attention to her scenes!!!!! It's gonna be a while until there's gonna be any "dating" her, which one would know if they paid attention to the obvious tells and hints dropped! She has some very obvious trauma around men, and until that is cleared up, the closest anyone is getting to a "date" is giving her a tour of the campus, and working to get to know her better, which may be challenging, on a different level then Kanako! I'm a huge fan of Dark Elves as well as every other kind of non-human type girl under and above the sun, but let's not forget the conversation that they had with her before the MC came in where it was also suggested that if she wasn't comfortable, they could see about adding Chiari or Aoibheann instead, though they really do want her to get better at dealing with males in general! Even the MC isn't dense enough to miss the tells that she is not exactly comfortable around males, and if need be, one could always have Jack make some kind of pass at her, and watch her clean his clock, maybe need Galka to hold her back/pull her off him if she happens to snap. She is gonna be a very slow burn character for such reasons. Characters I would have her meet while with the MC: Kanako, same reason as with Galka, though she's a little more cold, maybe we'd get to see her empathize with the girl in her situation. Chiari would be another one who would be interesting to meet, though maybe River would be a better fit. Chiari if they needed to get information from the Library, maybe Eshtel would be paying her a visit? Would be nice to see some follow up from when we delivered the "gift" to her. Maybe if we can make some decent head way in conversation, find time to bring her around River. Part of what I would be if it was me, would be giving a tour of the campus, while also working to slowly work on getting her to lower her guard ever so slightly around me. As I prefaced this whole thing, she's got a trauma around men, and if we are to work together, or in this case, her and the MC, one has to work to build up a level of trust, and NO, asking her out on a Date is NOT going to do it! If anything, that will only make her more uncomfortable if one can't read the air so to speak. Don't figure you will find out from her in just one walk around what happened either, you are more likely to find out from your superior, IF she decides too tell you, and that's only IF she feels you need to know and that Druthari won't tell you herself! Don't expect a pretty answer either, or a comfortable one. As we saw when it came time to learn about Cecilia's back story, our Dev isn't afraid to tell it like it is. But you know what, if you are gonna pick a rose, you gotta be ready to feel the thorns. I doubt we will learn much anytime soon though, but that's what makes a good story: pacing. Really looking forward to the future of this story....
