Apple is requiring that Patreon use their in-app purchasing system and remove all other billing systems from the Patreon iOS app by November 2024.
Apple will be applying their 30% App Store fee to all new memberships purchased in the Patreon iOS app, in addition to anything bought in your Patreon shop.
NOTE: Apple’s fee will not impact the existing members. It will only affect new memberships purchased in the iOS app from November onward.
So, my advice is that if you become of member of any creators from November afterwards, don't do it through the Patreon iOS App to avoid paying 30% more.
Do your payments through any web browser and you will be fine.

I have my doubts it'll last long, apple is already on trouble for refusing to support other apps stores. It's likely they'll get hit with an anti monopoly law and be required to rescind that decision. But still I appreciate the heads up(if only for the principle I don't use apple).
