67. Teach One-Shots Wolf.

Seeing Izou in a state of recovery, with his eyes closed, Ron immediately sighed in relief.

He then turned to Teach and inquired, "Teach! Can you deal with him on your own?"

Teach, unsure of Ron's intentions, glanced at Izou and noted that he wouldn't be able to recover and wake up anytime soon.

In addition, Ron was continuously using the Healing Flames to ensure that Izou wouldn’t wake up without making a full recovery.

Thinking swiftly, Teach realized that he could take action now without revealing his capabilities to anyone other than Ron.

And considering he had already exposed so much to Ron, it won’t really matter if he revealed some more at this point.

Moreover, people like Thatch, Ron, Ace, and others with whom he had good relations with had already consumed a Devil Fruit.

There was no chance for them to eat the Dark Dark Fruit.

When the time comes, the possibility of finding the Dark Dark Fruit would be much greater if he actively enlisted their help.

Considering this, Teach decided to show some of his combat powers to prove his worth.

As the heir of Whitebeard, Ron could use his identity to easily inquire about the Dark Dark Fruit and maybe even give it to him in the future.

This would only happen if Ron knew how useful he was.

On top of that, by letting Ron copy Devil Fruits according to his needs, he would have an easier time gaining those Devil Fruit abilities by snatching Ron’s Copy Copy Fruit in one swoop.

Thinking of this, Teach took action and swiftly appeared in the area in front of Wolf while declaring, "Your opponent is me."

“Where did this bug come from?” Looking at Teach, Wolf’s eyes flashed with disdain.

Although he sensed Teach’s strong aura, he didn’t recognize him, which meant that he was not one of the Division Commanders or really anyone of importance in the Whitebeard Pirates.

Thinking of this, Wolf declared in a superior tone of voice, “You bug should have stayed out of the way. Now, I will kill you first, then Ron, and finally that damn guy Izou.

“None of you will live past today! Wolf Fang Fist!”

With a fierce roar, Wolf charged forward, unleashing a barrage of punches. The wind generated by the punches took the shape of a wolf, pouncing at Teach.

Ron watched the situation unfold with narrowed eyes. He knew Teach was about to take action.

This guy wouldn’t show strength which was stronger than Elite Vice Admiral level. So, Ron was really curious about how Teach would deal with Wolf.

On the other hand, Teach had already decided to settle the matter in one move.

Seeing the approaching figure, he swiftly equipped his metal claws on his left hand and mobilized his Armament Haki to cover his hand and the claw.

However, instead of just the usual black metallic color, Teach’s Armament Haki had a dark red tint to it.

After easily dodging Wolf’s punches, Teach's claws pierced through the wolf's chest in one swift move, halting his assault abruptly.

The Wind Wolf generated by Wolf’s punches also dissipated.

Lowering his head, Wolf observed his chest as his aura weakened significantly. With wide eyes filled with disbelief, he muttered, “How is this possible? Your power, your Haki–!!”

"Get some sleep!"

However, before he could finish speaking, Teach took action.

Raising his right hand coated in Armament Haki, he struck Wolf on his temple.

Without any accident, Wolf passed out immediately.

The chest injury, coupled with this sudden blow to the head, led his breath to start weakening at a rapid pace, indicating that he would not survive for long.

‘So strong!’

Observing this scene, Ron couldn't help but let out a small gasp.

He had known that Teach shouldn’t be underestimated and the unique techniques he displayed before to awaken his two basic Haki types just reinforced that feeling.

However, he never expected Teach to be capable of killing an Admiral Candidate-level guy in just one blow.

Even though the opponent wasn’t a proper Quasi Admiral level strong, it didn’t undermine Teach’s capability at all.

‘Damn it! Even if this guy doesn't have the Dark Dark Fruit, there's a close to 100% chance that he is at the level of an Admiral.

‘With Teach's current strength, if he operates alone, he could easily be a pirate on the level of Ochoku, with a bounty of at least over 1.5 Billion Berries.

‘It can be said that if he forms a crew, even without a Devil Fruit, he might be declared the Fifth Emperor of the Sea in just a few years.’

"Ron!"

Teach turned around, and the sinister expression he had on his face while taking down Wolf was replaced by a simple and honest smile. "Come on, this guy is already unconscious and won’t be able to resist your power.

“Under such circumstances, you can copy the power of his Devil Fruit without any chance of failure."

"Alright, I am coming!"

After regaining his composure, Ron kept his shocked expression for a few more seconds before showing a happy smile.

He stopped the releasing Healing Flames, turned around, and hurried toward Teach.

Soon, he reached the spot beside Wolf’s unconscious body.

As Teach had mentioned, Wolf was in no condition to offer any form of resistance at this moment. Without hesitation, Ron squatted down, grabbed onto Wolf's head, and bellowed, "Copy!"

The next second, Ron and Wolf were surrounded by radiant white light, beginning the process of copying the Paramecia Type; Amp Amp Fruit in Wolf’s body.

‘Plan successful!’

Seeing this, the corners of Teach's mouth rose. The powerful Amp Amp Fruit ability was finally being copied by Ron.

Although the Devil Fruit power belonged to Ron at that moment, it didn’t mean that in the future, he wouldn’t get the chance to obtain it.

Thinking of this, Teach sneakily patted the apple in his pocket and said in his mind with a glint in his eyes, ‘I hope I can get it directly. In that case, I won't necessarily have to take action against Ron in the future.’

At this time, Izo's coughing sounds echoed from behind him.
