Bloom: Prologue

Hey beloved pledges!

Today's release is the beginning of a new project that I hope to run with going forward.

I recently read a very good webcomic called 'Rain', the story of a trans high schooler trying to live her life and getting up to wacky hijinx. It reminded me strongly of 'Venus Envy', a comic from the early 2000s that was one of my first experiences with positive, realistic(-ish) portrayal of a trans person in media.

When I realized that there was no good media about transitioning later in life, I realized that I could -- and should -- fix that lack.

Bloom is my experimental attempt at this. My plan is for Bloom to be a frequently-updated story with short, only mildly interactive chapters. We may see some of Kiva's superb art in the story as I continue it, and I may change the format or linearity as I see fit. My goal is to tell the story in the way that it deserves.
