Important Update/Query, Please Read!
Added 2014-08-05 03:26:34 +0000 UTCHi Pledges! As we roll into August, I have an important update for you: I plan to renew my dedication to Patreon, producing at least two, probably 3, possibly even 4 works a month. Now would be a good time to check your pledge cap in case that would be a financial hardship for you. Pursuant to that, I just gave a well-received talk at the Women in Games Boston monthly meetup; it was about Author as Audience and personal narrative in video game development. I'd like to clean up and release the audio of the talk, as well as the powerpoint presentation. The timetable on that, however, is in question as I've already sunk quite a few hours into this project and would have to sink more in order to make the audio worthy of release. In order to prioritize it, I'd need to make it a Patreon release. It is, however, outside of my normal purvey; it's not a game, it's not a story, it's a speech and presentation ABOUT games. So I ask you, noble and honorable pledges: Do you consider this talk a worthy Patreon release? If a significant number of you say 'no', I'll let it go and link it when I have the time to get around to it. If I don't receive much pushback, I'll release it. Thank you! Oh, one more thing: please play Connected Kit Episode 3 and send me your end-of-episode data! I'm dying to know whom you all offended. Cheers! Caelyn

2014-08-05 04:56:11 +0000 UTCMy opinion: it's a creative work that you created, so it doesn't not belong on Patreon. It doesn't bother me that it's not a story/game. If you do release it, please also provide an audio transcript!
