Big Update Post - Changes
Added 2018-07-17 19:15:59 +0000 UTCMISSING CONTENT
Hey everyone, due to a bit of account issues, which led to a short suspension, a lot of content was removed from my page in order to get it back up and running. Some of it was absolutely outside of guidelines, and other stuff was debatable, to the point that I removed it to avoid any issues that come with that. I'm sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.
NEW TIERS
Due to being made aware of my content being spilled somewhere else, tiers have been reorganized. $1 patrons will still get all big animations a day early, but in order to see it up to a week early a $5 tier is necessary. I've also reworked the art for the whole page, including tier options.
Tiers are now as follows;
- $1 - Supporter - For anyone who wants to see my new stuff a day early
- $5- Early Access - Animations up to 5 days early, depending on the size of the animation(and if there is a specific deadline I'm trying to hit, i.e. a holiday or some such)
- $10 - Pin-Up - This is the same as before, but includes early access rewards.
Discord rewards have also been added for $5+ tiers. I still have to set them up for the supporter tier, but effectively it gives you a special role in the discord server. It's nothing really fancy but if the functionality is there, why not use it.
MONTHLY ANIMATIONS
I mentioned that I wanted to start doing this, and I think I'd like to start doing this again in August, once I clear out my plate a bit more. Some sort of community driven idea for a 30s-1:30s animation once a month or so. I think it could be a fun idea to be able to get an idea of what you all want to see, and build an animation idea together.
WIPS
I'm going to start posting more work-in-progress stuff. I know I've posted a few here that I've never followed up on, and those projects are still in production, albeit pushed back. Other than that though, I have a few shorts I'm working on that I'd like to share here over the next few days.
ANIMATION
As you all can see in some recent posts, I have been diving back into Blender. At the moment, only small loops are planned for production in it due to render times, but I would like to eventually switch my entire production over to Blender. There are a lot of scenes I've wanted to do for a long time that due to technical limitations, or content limitations within SFM, I've been unable to do. With Blender, I can build my own scenes(and hopefully eventually characters), so it opens up possibilities a lot. While this would push content out further, I think the overall quality improvement would make up for it.
THAT'S IT
I just wanted to give you all this update on what's been going on, and how things are going to go in the future. Thank you all for your continued support.
