✧ early look: 🍬 demon schoolgirl 🎒 complete illustration

Hi everyone! ✨ the Jini After School illustration is all done! Here she is, waiting in a quiet alleyway for an innocent bystander to pass by so she can play a mischievous demon trick on them 😈 the original drawing (last photo) is from 2018, and I'm really happy with how much I have improved in 3 years! ✨

I've mentioned a few times that improving on environment scenes has been one of my major art goals, and while I think I am slowly getting there, I still have no idea how to tackle ambient light and shadows 😭 it's especially difficult since there wasn't much photo reference for me to work from so a lot of the light/shadow placement were all just guesses, but since this is just a fun personal illustration, I try not to get too serious about it.
