The release date for February videos will be postponed

Feb 12: I have taken the ssd for repair, there will be news in the next few days. If the data can be recovered, February's videos could be released within this week, otherwise this set will be release around 20-25. Thank you for your patience.

Feb 3: I left it next to a fan for 3 days and then turned it on, and no miracle happened, it turned out that it was really broken.

I also tried extracting the nvme ssd from the sandisk case hoping it would work on a ssd dock but nothing happened, just confirm it was really dead.

Since all the source files and essential stuff for editing videos were gone(like logo, intro, sound, presets), I need to rebuild them from scratch, so it will take more time than usual to complete the set (I have a full copy of these files in an external SSD, and yes, it’s the same one that was also killed by the water), once I receive the new computer I will focus all my time on completing the february set, sorry again for the delay 🙇

Something serious has suddenly happened, and the release date of Feb’s videos will be around 20-25th.

I accidentally spilled a whole cup of water onto the computer, which caused a power outage in the house. What's more serious is that I found water leaking out from the usb port when I tilted the computer.

Moreover, the plugged-in SSD and the power strip have also been soaked in water. All the files of February are in this SSD. Now I have to wait until the water dries up to find out if anything survived.

Update: The SSD died, don't know if the computer died too. The luckiest thing is that I already had all the footage backed up on another external hard drive, it just takes time and a working computer to do all the post-production again.

Update: Just check again that all footage in the external hard drive is safe and untouched, so I decided to turn on the mac after two days to make sure all the water was gone. Since the project is saved inside the mac, if I can boot it again, I can release the video around the 10th, otherwise the release date will be postponed to the 20-25th, I'm very sorry.

Update: After some research I figured the chances of the mac turning on again are slim as it caused a power outage in the house, so the power supply unit might be broken. The worst part is it's a mac and I can't just open it and get the ssd inside to backup all data. Still, I hope for a miracle.
