This is just some panel experimentation, sketch quality, with dialog -- not an actual page from the comic. Basically, playing around with "aspect to aspect" paneling focusing on subtleties rather than "action to action" just to see how it works. Can be helpful for giving some context, setting the mood, and changing the pacing. I find these sorts of things enjoyable to mess with. So yeah, that's all this is.
News:
The script for chapter one is like 95 to 98% finished. The trick is finding ways to give backstory in an interesting way rather than relying on heavy expository dialog. Polishing that stuff up currently. Would be nice to have an editor!
I do have a couple of other obligations to work on and finish before I can fully dive in to Houseguest, but the goal is to begin publishing finished pages as we get into the holiday season. Once I'm ready for that, I will make an announcement and institute an appropriate set of tiers for patrons.
I'll continue to post sketches and designs, maybe a pin-up or two, over the next several weeks.
