I've been quiet the past month or so because of some personal stuff + I've been feeling less motivated about these audios. I had a lot of fun doing pure, classic 'ASMR RP' content like everything else on YouTube in the beginning and I'm glad to see that lots of people liked it but I feel too boxed in to the 'one speaker only in-universe dialogue' that ASMR RP is built on.
Here's an audio I started working on when I could not bring myself to record the classic ASMR that I wasn't enjoying anymore. It's more like an audiobook but it's in the second person and the central speaker character stills speaks like in classic ASMR RP. I'm fundamentally a writer first (I always have been and always will be) and a speaker/actor second. Writing in narration gives me so much more room in these audios to fully flesh out who the speaker is as a character. There's only so much I feel like I can do with one speaker that I begin to feel like the other audios I was recording become indistinct re-hashing of the same plots over and over again.
This is only a preview; the full audio will be out in a few days. I wanted to get the full version out earlier but wasn't able to; I'm in-between apartments right now and have to go rent studio time to finish recording. Expect the full version in a few days (yes it will have a spicy scene the new audios will still be porn haha)
Going forward, most of the audios will be like this; buckle up because it's about to get super fun tbh.

The way you described her getting stuck in the barista's head and put me into the mind of this Eleanor Rigby listener character so thoroughly was just amazing.

2024-11-16 02:16:51 +0000 UTCwhoa yeah definitely gonna be sticking around to see how you develop this style! i enjoy the standard ASMR RP, but it’s a narrow enough genre that the writing can start to feel formulaic as a listener. so im not surprised that the writing/recording process could get stale after making it for a bit. i feel like writers/VAs and listeners alike would be better off for more variety, and it’s cool and exciting that you’re gonna be pushing things creatively and stylistically :)

I wasn't sure what you had meant when you explained the format but now I do and I am very I vested and hooked. Your writing is phenomenal, and also as someone who works opening shift in the food industry some of the lines, such as "...it was left by the closers. They always leave something" absolutely sent me. Super excited to hear and experience more. Please don't murder us? 😭

This is so fresh for me and honestly I’m enjoying it, thank you so much for this and it’s good to hear that you’re enjoying this more💗 it got me goosebumps even though it’s just a preview.
