WIPwed: Action Figure Mod Update
Added 2022-02-02 16:47:39 +0000 UTCI'm weathering a winter storm right now, so I decided to use this time to actually work on my action figures. Also i mean, I wanted to get these done before starting another one that should be arriving soon. I'll post about that one when the time comes. Anyway, Talia is mostly done. She needs the Psicorps emblem finished on her lapel and a little touchup to her black and she'll be ready for a gloss seal. Beetlejuice is still getting his stripes worked on. The musical costume is thankfully a little messy on purpose so I'm not stressing too much about the straightness of the black lines and I'm purposefully messing up the white stripes to make them look dingy. You can see the contrast between sleeves. When I'm done with the stripes I'll start adding green, red, and purple stains to really sell the look. He's got yellow in his hair b/c I didn't want to waste the paint I squeezed out for Talia's badge and knew I was going to be using all different colors in there anyway so I blotted some on. That last thing you see there is G'Kar's leather coat. I've had a plain brown coat for him forever (stolen from Gowron) and always meant to paint it to look like his Citizen G'Kar coat but never got around to it. The back isn't accurate but he's not going to be displayed facing backward. As long as it's not plain. When everyone's done and the storm is over, I'll go get some gloss spray seal and take pictures of them with all their friends!
I'm also thinking of opening for commissions soon. As patrons you get a heads-up on ordering. I'll have four slots open for $25 a piece. Send me a PM if you're interested. I'll post again as a separate post when I'm ready to start.
