Love the updated episode! It is so cool to see a bit of your editing process, and you can really tell how all the little details add to the story and ambiance. The dark stormy night also feels so cozy! Fav panel is def the added "mine" Tora panel 😏

I have to say Lily the subtle way that you narrate feelings using light and imagery is truly an art in itself. I felt like Poppy was walking into a Tiger’s den. All is dark, no light . So much so that she trips, then a little light, just a sliver “mind the guns”, follow my voice. I can see you even though you can’t see me. Like a true predator, always a step ahead, always vigilant. Then she arrives and he is in darkness, and yet that sass gives her the sign. The little light is still on, his and then hers. And let’s not get into her willingly laying down in her metaphorical bed. Im deceased 🫡🫠🫠🫠. Maybe she’s not 💯 aware of it. But her choice is made. And she’s staying. I don’t know man, maybe I’m reaching but goddamnit is so good to go down the rabbit wholes of what if’s. Never listen to the nay sayer’s girl they’ll never understand that what you do is art. Bravo

Lilydusk--I have to say that I really enjoy and appreciate the complexity and depth of this story and your characters. As a writer, myself, as well as a lifelong reader (40+ years), This story has me thinking and analyzing the details and nuances like I would an 18th century text! 😊

It is truly encouraging to see how Poppy and Tora grow, mature and expand in their individual situations and together. Their clothing choices are bolder, their conversations are deeper…. I can’t wait to see if they will share an intense kiss again like at the hideout and their birthday celebration at the club.
