On Mark leaving Adum Plaze
Added 2017-06-15 06:18:30 +0000 UTCHey everyone. For those of you who haven't noticed, Mark has unfortunately decided to stop working for Adum Plaze. I'll be talking to him to try and coordinate a google hangout date for those of you who already paid for that perk for this month.
I'll be making a major Patreon update before the month-end to describe what changes are going to have to take place. Essentially I'm now paying for several different editors on a per-video commission basis in charge of each video series. I'm still in the audition process for the most part, but I already have at least one editor lined up working on the Adum Plaze Saw series.
All of the money that has been donated so far (and all of the channel ad revenue) has gone to Mark as well as thousands of dollars from my own pocket to ensure he was earning a stable income while he was working here. Now the Adum Plaze patreon money as well as my own income will be going towards paying other editors for their work on the channel. I'll be in charge of all editing applications to ensure that the money is being put to good use and each video being uploaded is to the standard of quality I expect.
We will obviously all miss Mark and the videos he edited, but it was his decision to stop working and we have to respect that. If you no longer wish to donate to the channel, I completely understand. However, it would mean a lot to me if you at least gave the new editors a chance.
No one will be charged any money until there is a major Patreon update with every detail necessary to keep you informed on where the Patreon campaign is going from here on out and whether you consent to those changes or not. If at any point you wish for a refund for the previous month, I will honor that for any reason whatsoever (as I already do with my main YMS patreon).

I tried everything to motivate him and nothing worked. We all fell for his empty promises and it was naive of me to continue believing him each time. I gave him too many chances, mostly because he was a friend I was genuinely trying to help get on his own feet. I was trying to set him up in life and he kept spitting in my face. I'm taking many steps to ensure this doesn't happen again. I'm in the middle of going through applications to have multiple editors on the channel, each responsible for their own series. It's a per-video commission basis so if an editor takes time away from the channel and needs to focus on other life aspects like school or other jobs, it won't take away from the channel and the gaps will be filled in by the other editors. All of their content is going through me before being published, so each video will be up to the standard of quality that I expect. One of these videos is already published on the channel (Adum Plaze Saw Part 3) and they are only going to get better. Considering that was Tayvan Dorsey's first attempt at a Plaze video, I'm already impressed and looking forward to seeing where the channel goes from here. There are other editors already working on projects right now as well. I am completely 100% willing to refund for up to 3 months of your Patreon donations upon request. I'm partially responsible for this whole scenario and that kind of manipulative dishonesty he was promoting here isn't what I'm about at all. I would rather the money come from me than from any of you guys. You weren't informed about the situation and there was nothing you could have done to prevent it. Please send me a DM if you would like to request a refund. I'm sorry for allowing this to continue on for longer than it should have. I'll be making a major Patreon update video for this campaign before the month is over. I genuinely appreciate all of the support you've given so far. Thank you. -Adam

Really wish Adam had come forward sooner about all this. Will change to supporting him on his main channel only which I know always has a full commitment.
