*IMPORTANT* - October Patreon + Update

Hi my lovelies, I hope everyone is having a wonderful September ❤️ To those who have joined our Patreon fam when I was away, welcome  🥰 And I hope you've all been enjoying the content I have on here!

I'm dropping by with some updates and housekeeping matters, and to give you guys a heads up on what to expect in October. To get to the gist of this post, skip to the 'IMPORTANT INFORMATION' section below, where I make an important Patreon update.  Please read this before your pledge for October is processed in a couple weeks time. 

On to some personal updates.

For the last few months, I have been experimenting with MANY different ways of producing the episodes. A lot of my time was spent on discussions with my Editor (who has been super supportive, understanding and patient with me), learning new skills and techniques, working out a faster and more efficient system and pipeline, working closely with my hired artists (training them, setting art benchmarks and ensuring that everyone is able to meet them comfortably, coordinating our deadlines and schedules, etc.), fleshing out the story, refining my art style, and more. Basically, I realised one day, that I've taken on the role of a full-fledged project manager + production worker. Which is an amazing feat for me, because I’ve always been that one slacker at work who stealthily sidesteps all management responsibilities, heh.

Anyway. Some of these times have been rough. But finally…FINALLY, (with the love, wisdom and encouragement from all of you guys!) everything is falling into place. At least for now, at this beginning phase, all those bumps in the road have been mostly (hopefully!) ironed out. I'm having a fruitful and productive month so far, and it feels great. Giving myself a pat on the back for being the stubborn optimist that I am, and never giving up when things were looking so bleak 💪💪

The launch date hasn’t been confirmed yet (ultimately, it's Webtoon's call on when I get to launch), but it is drawing nearer and I am super pumped to be able to share MPL 2.0 with everyone, soon. I'm very happy with what I've come up with - I have new little scenes that deepen the plot, and the connection between Pops and Tora, and I think most of you guys will enjoy the revamp very much!

There will be a few changes to my October’s Patreon content to support this 'final lap' of my journey. Please read this before your pledge for October is processed in a couple weeks time.

1. I won't be posting MPL sneak previews for October. I've placed (perhaps unfairly) a ton of expectations on myself now that MPL is going to be Featured, which has left me in a rather fragile state.  So I'm doing all I can to protect my state of mind, for now. Sneak previews will resume once MPL has launched. 
2. I won't be making long comic strips for my Secret Garden posts for October (or longer, if necessary). These comic strips have allowed me to pour all the stories in my head out on paper, and to lavish you guys with extra content for being such amazing supporters <3. But this has, unfortunately, slowed me down on MPL production work. So for now, I’ll be reverting to my original offering of weekly smut sketches instead. Comic strips will be back as soon as I have built a solid routine and a firm handle on the (very intense) production rate for MPL episodes.
   

I’m sending this notice in advance, and if you feel that this amount of content is insufficient for you, or if you might be unsatisfied with Occtober's content, please remember to make your pledge arrangements early. Refunds will not be issued once the October pledge has been processed. So remember to set your reminders, cancel early, etc.!
