MPL - Ep 3 Sneak Preview

Poppy's first look at Tora (remember when she thought to herself 'sudden chill in the air' when Tora walks by?) I love beginning chapters because of all the 'firsts'. I'm a nostalgic fool and I'm a sucker for first-times. So I'm trying really hard to make the first few chapters as memorable (for the characters and the readers) as possible. There are more passerby characters than I originally intended for, but I think having them there, adds to the realism of the scene. Background line art done by Mai who did an amazing job (thanks girl!).

Also I will be making Secret Gardens as soon as I'm done with this episode, probably on Friday!

On a completely unrelated note, I have a bad habit of clenching my jaw and gnashing my teeth together really hard when i'm focused on drawing, and my jaw hurts lmao. I'm constantly reminding myself to keep my teeth apart. Hello, powerful Tora jaws, here I come 😭
