Update on AB and MPL (Pt 1)
Added 2019-03-18 03:14:03 +0000 UTCHey guys. To those who didn't read my update post here, I was offered a featured artist position on Webtoon with MPL. I'm still unable to reveal what's happening right now, but what I can tell you is that I'm in the midst of negotiating terms with Webtoon and I'm being very careful and thorough with this. And what I can promise you is that the Secret Garden tier and all its contents will remain unchanged!! Because that is a non-negotiable for me and a dealbreaker. This means you'll get to read the NSFW spinoffs of a featured webtoon bahaha ðĪŠ
Anyway, indirectly because of this, the previous MPL episode will be the last one of this season, and there won't be an episode today. Which is just as well since that was the least cliffhanger-y cliffhanger that could happen ðĪ
As for AB, the next episode will be released as promised, or earlier, and I am working on this next AB episode right now. Depending on how negotiations with Webtoon go (ie. if the deal goes through and I accept the offer), there will also be changes to the future of AB. HOWEVER, I promise that AB will be completed one way or another.
I'm so sorry that everything is still so uncertain, and it kills me not to be able to give you guys any final updates and conclusions. But I'm fighting for the best possible outcome for all of us. Fingers crossed that all this will be finalised soon so I can let y'all know what to expect with everything.

Good luck & congrats :) I hope everything works in your favor. I hope this helps you grow as an artist and you get more followers. Question, for AB would it be better/possible to pause it after the 2 chapter update and just start it up again once MPL is complete? I rather you complete the story as you wish to tell, don't mind waiting.

I'm not counting on so many hearts or earning lots of money ð what really sealed the deal for me is the chance to work as a comic artist professionally and have professional guidance from a seasoned editor. And hopefully really grow my craft. And yes, there is a contract and the fee is really average at best, for me (I signed a NDA form with Webtoon so that's as much as I can reveal)

You deserve a lot, I hope to see you soon with 99,999 hearts like other featured webtoons ð And being here, when it's possible, I would like to know a bit more of how this Featured thing works, totally out of curiosity. Do you sign a job contract as a employee? Or do you still work as a freelance and they pay you? Is it really so much as it seems to be? (I have heard a lot of artists talk about having enough to even hire people when going Featured). Also, I am impressed about how many webtoons are going Featured. I guess now with the ads and the coin option it is worth for them.
