Sketching for the cover page / thumbnail. I'm really really happy with how this one turned out! Whathisname has a neck tattoo covering his entire neck because tattoo is life, lol. It's supposed to be an oriental peony, or some flower XD

After inking this, I'll be sending it to my flatter so I can get it coloured ASAP. I'm very nervous because I've never done colouring for this character style in a comic. I'll see how it plays out. Like I mentioned earlier, if I'm unable to meet the deadline, I'll have to drop out of the contest. Anyways, I'll keep you guys posted on updates X)

So a little artist story/ramble.

I did this piece whilst listening to an awesome Oriental themed playlist on Spotify, and when I get really into the zone, it feels like I'm transported to another dimension (or I just lose myself entirely in the creation process) which is the greatest feeling in the world. And I often produce something that I really love <3

Thing is, my attention span is terrible. The only time I can fully focus is if I have my headphones on and music blasting. If I forget to (or choose not to), hours will go by and I realise that I've just produced hours worth of crap (I'm not even joking) or sometimes nothing at all. The problem is, when I focus, I get very productive but it's more draining and exhausting. It's really a double edged sword XD

Don't worry though, guys. I've gotten good at balancing everything so I don't get TOO tired (or too relaxed).
