Pin Reveal: Disability Pride, Bi Pride, and LGBTQ Pride Border Collie

Happy Disability Pride everybody! We are so excited to make our first Disability Pride Pin! As disabled creatives, we wanted to make one of these for a while, and were just waiting for the flag to become a little more polished. The version we're using is still based on Ann Magill's original flag, but it is also referencing a variant by our friend Nishwani Lachhman, which emphasizes progressive movement forward and upward. These printed metal/soft enamel border collie pins are sporting the types of harnesses often worn by service dogs and ESAs! We want it to look like they're looking out for you. Border Collies can be great support animals, and we haven't made any pins of them since 2018. It was also fun to make the Bi one a Blue Merle.

✦ Mailing Schedule:

We mail quarterly.  This has helped us keep our tier prices low despite inflation. These "August" Border Collies are part of the "Summer Quarter" and will mail in Fall 2024, with the “June” Tora and "July" Shiba pins.

✦ Current Mailing Status:

• The Let Every Kid Blossom pins are mailed

• Our fan art preorder mailing is in progress.

• Our last Kickstarter, Celestial Pride, is 97% mailed, except for a stock issue that had us short 50 hydra pins. The manufacturer is producing the missing pins now.

• The Spring Quarter is in production and will mail in the Summer. It includes the Snowdrop Foxes, the Crocus Cats, and the Ferret pins. The crocus cats came out wrong and needed to be remade, but it is estimated they'll arrive around the end of this month. Thus we're still optimistic for a summer mailing (probably August) because we started these ahead of schedule.
