Waiting for the Undoing.

This is going to be personal and political, so caution yourselves.

I consider myself as politically progressive. Dare I say leftist. Even though I'm not politically active as I'm not qualified nor charismatic enough, I have a belief that everybody should have the best lives as possible without compromising each other. However, as someone with high empathy, I am depressed in a world where concerning populations are ignorant, selfish, and fearful. As an American, I found our democrats to be center-right and our republicans as demonic clowns who somehow aren't disbarred from their behavior. I don't understand why sexual minorities get picked on when they're harmless. I don't understand the ongoing wars and tensions between countries that wastes lives and resources. I also don't get why we accepted to work 40-hr work weeks minimum when technology is sufficient enough to shorten them.

In the 2024 election, Donald Trump had won. I was devastated. A criminal clown who not only bullies and say outlandish words, but also killed citizens with his apathy from the coronavirus, caused an insurrection, stole classified documents, and is working with Putin. Trump has a lot of red flags, especially with his Project 2025 plan that will hurt average Americans, and most of the states came out red. I thought that people are wiser than this, and they have almost a decade to learn about Trump. And now they're going to suffer with everybody else.

Even though I voted democrat, I also blame the blue. Outside of ~15 million people not voting, their campaign wasn't noticed nor effective enough to sway votes. And in the aftermath, I'm seeing liberals becoming bigoted against minorities. It's like the world is turning completely upside down.

To be real with you, I don't think that I have a future. I'm autistic, a CC dropout, don't know that much about adult life, worked manual warehouse, and is concerned about the state of our country and system. I just want life to be simpler and easier for me and everyone else. Now that we're revisiting the toxic political landscape of 2016, I will have to embrace the next four years as an older man.
