This deck idea has been floating around on my hard drive for over a year now. That should no longer be the case. I want to print 500 decks.

When I was thinking about a name for the deck, I thought about how the deck includes the Black Roses Monogram logo, but at the same time, its design could also be a Polyantha deck, with the repeating patterns. Monogram + Polyanta... Mono Poly.

As you can imagine, I'm not particularly keen on getting into a legal battle with Hasbro. However, I find the name so fitting and it made me giggle for a long time when I came up with the idea, so I don't want to change it now. I don't think I have anything to worry about, but for safety's sake, I won't mention the name of the deck on the box - just as I've done with all Polyantha decks so far.

It's possible that the deck will officially be released under a different name, but now you know what we're going to call it :D

We also have a new Queen of Diamonds in the Mono Polys.

One extra card in this deck will be a little preview of a future deck. If everything works out and turns out the way I imagine it will, this will most likely be my next Kickstarter project in February, which will end on my birthday again. But I don't want to spoil anything until I know whether it works the way I imagine it will.

There is another surprise in store for this deck, which I have never printed before. More information will be available very soon.
