Here is a deck that I currently design for @carolinacabedoilusionista.
I already designed a minimalist logo for her some time ago. The inspiration to use her initials for the logo came from David Blaine's db logo. Many other magicians have already gone wild with this idea, trying to squeeze their initials into a Spade shape, more bad than right. :D But I think I found a good way to make it work. CC for Carolina Cabedo:

She and her boyfriend - both proud bearers of a Black Roses tattoo btw - came to me with the idea of a minimalist cold foil deck. So I came up with this:

The color specifications were red and pink and it should contain circus elements since she had her first contact with magic in the circus. However, a minimalist deck with circus elements on the back no longer sounded like a minimalist deck to me. So I made the suggestion to keep the back as simple as possible. The Ace of Spades and the Jokers should pick up the circus theme more which I'm going to show you in a few days. We already have a nice looking Ace of Spades but the Joker is currently just an idea.
The colors on the courts look all slightly more faded. I simply love this vintage touch. It gives it more life. Carolina is the Queen of Hearts.

Carolina's idea for the extra cards - circus tickets. Loved it, designed it:

I originally worte "The Fantastic Carolina" on the ticket. They suggested to change it into Spanish: "La Fantástica Carolina" and I thought "Fantástica" would be a nice sounding deck name.
Hope you like it so far. Let me know what you think in the comments.
Much love
Daniel
