Blue Magic Gaff Deck
Added 2021-06-27 19:52:05 +0000 UTCBesides my Red Roses the Blue Magic Edition is probably the most "commercial" deck that I have. And since the Red Roses are almost sold out it only makes sense to design a gaff deck for the Blue Magic Edition. My goal is it to offer this deck in a bundle with a regular Blue Magic deck.
As magician I absolutely love gaff decks and as a designer it's also fun to design them. There is just one huge problem with nearly every gaff deck. You probably never use 90% of the cards in one of these decks. I want to change that but of course it also depends on your personal style if you want to use these cards or not. My approach is to use less silly cards. These cards always work for a joke but as magician I think we are able to create astonishing and unforgettable moments for the spectator. As you can see in the image there are also a few duplicates. I don't think a gaff deck needs 52 different cards/effects. That's one reason why 90% of these cards will never get used.
You should get a few "refills" so that you can hand out these cards to the spectator as a souvenir. Yes, like that the deck won't stay complete for a long time but that's how you should use a gaff deckl if you really perform with it.

It would be great to have these gaffs with the Blue Roses court cards.
