Beauties, there are a few little details on the Hanson Chien tuck that I wanna share with you.

You know that a lot tuck boxes from Taiwan have this vertical tuck with this huge flap where the box only gets glued together on the sides. Hanson Chien tried to create a tuck box in the same shape like the USPCC tuck because that's what most customers are asking for. That's something I really appreciate because I like the uniform look. It already bothers me when the halfmoon cutout on a tuck has a different shape. Something that Cartamundi fixed on their tucks last year.

A lot details on the Hanson Chien tuck have the exact same shapes of the USPCC tuck but he made the box thinner. Something USPCC don't care about that much, that's why you can shake a thin crushed deck in the tuck and you hear that they are thin crushed.

The biggest difference from the USPCC tuck is the bottom flap which is on the front. When you fold the box you fold the bottom flap down. Same thing on all Cartamundi tucks. But it's the exact opposite on USPCC tucks. Hanson told me that it makes no sense for him. And I have to agree. I really makes no sense that USPCC fold the flap to the other side. But I'm so used to the USPCC tucks that I still prefer this design.

In every deck that I've released so far I used the bottom flaps to hide something. Every deck of mine has the year of printing and a number on the bottom flaps. On the Hanson Chien tuck box you can see a "1 of 500" on the bottom left flap and a "018" on the bottom right flap. 018 for the 18th Black Roses release.

With Hanson Chien I'm finally able to print on the glue parts. They need to stay white on all USPCC decks. They also should stay white so that the glue really sticks. But a little "2020" in a stamp look shouldn't be a problem. I took this idea from the original Jerry's Nugget Playing Cards.
