My recommendation in the "Samurai" manga!

Today, I would like to talk about the connection between Japanese culture and manga.

I'm Japanese, so my friends abroad often ask me, "Are there still ninjas and samurai in Japan?"

Unfortunately, there are no more samurai or ninja in Japan.

However, there are still people who have inherited their traditional skills and knowledge.

For today's young Japanese, few people are interested in them.

However, it still has a great influence in modern Japanese culture.

For example, in the world of manga, ninjas and samurai are still popular, and themes that pay tribute to them are popular.

Naruto is a manga about Japanese ninjas that is especially popular with people overseas.

"NARUTO" is a very popular manga in Japan, so children who watch the anime admire ninjas.

There are quite a lot of manga with the theme of "Samurai", and I think that many works have been introduced overseas.

Recently, a world with the theme of "Japan" has appeared in "ONE PIECE", right?

Old Japanese costumes and hairstyles are very novel when we look at them now.

Out of the many samurai-themed manga in Japan, I would like to introduce one of my recommendations today.

It's long-time popular cartoon that I have been watching since I was a child.

「るろうに剣心」( Rurouni Kenshin )

Do you know?

This manga depicts the transitional period when the era of "Samurai" was about to end in Japan.

Of course, it's fiction, but the characters are very attractive and the swordsmanship expressions are very cool, so if you haven't seen it yet, please read it.

When I looked it up, it seems that the English version can be read on Amazon's Kindle.

"Rurouni Kenshin" is a very popular manga that has been made into an anime and a live-action movie in Japan.

Not only the male characters, but the female characters are also very attractive.

At least this cartoon inspired me to develop my own art style as a kid.

It's one of the mangas that I've read over and over since I was a child and even now as an adult.

I would appreciate it if all the supporters would be interested.

My recommendation in the "Samurai" manga! My recommendation in the "Samurai" manga!

thank you for reading! I think that Japan's "Bushido" certainly influenced entertainment in various countries. movies, games, anime, etc. I think the filmmakers in particular have successfully integrated these elements into contemporary culture.

Really!? "Yu Yu Hakusho" is one of the animes that I was particularly obsessed with when I was a child. Even now, the stories and character settings of those comics are very attractive.

Thanks for the cultural lesson! It's actually fascinating since in America, Samurai and Bushido have been recurring fixtures in pop culture since the 1950s. Thanks to Akira Kurosawa's 1954 movie "Seven Samurai" creating a small boom for Samurai flicks. This boom would inspire numerous famous directors like George Lucas (Star Wars) and Steven Spielberg (Jurassic Park).

I grew up watching Rurouni Kenshin, YuYu Hakusho, and Inuyasha. They were some of the first animes I started watching and what got me into anime in the first place!
