You may have heard the phrase "put your own oxygen mask on first". It means that before you can serve the interests of others you must be safe, secure, save yourself. You may have the best intentions, and this includes serving in a BDSM context as well.

This is a simplified version of my morning routine, and the things it references - such as lovingkindness meditation, priority setting, self forgiveness, and permission to breathe - are all actual techniques you might do research on. I hope it is a nice reminder and anchor.
