as someone who has one grandma with dementia/alzheimer's and another who had a bad stroke(and thus their connection to this thin fabric we call reality has become spottier than the shitty cellular reception my house has) this one hurts

When you punch a guy on the erection, do you jab (requires more precision, causes more pain) or hook (causes amusing, doorstop-like "sproing")

Yeah, I want Onstad to write what he wants to write, not steer things in a direction he doesn't believe in. If this is where he's at, I'm on board. A line that's stayed with me for, I guess, 13 years now: "Life is cruel, but at least it is life, at least for a while."

It's 2023 and to think that our favorite Achewood friends are somehow totally insulated from the vicissitudes of fate is foolishness. This is real, and I'm here for it.

Jesus fucking christ.
On lighter news, I checked my database, and in the original days of Achewood, circa 2001, Achewood updated every weekday. That was its most frequent update schedule. Since these twelve days of Christmas strips have been uploaded over the weekend, I'm assuming they'll continue to be uploaded daily for the next nine days.
This means we're currently in a period of the most frequent Achewood comic updates in its entire 22 year history. 12 strips in 12 days has never happened before.
I hope this helps Philippe and you come to terms with the only game in town.

I'm hoping all this bleakness is just seasonal for our crew, and that with April comes lots of slide whistles and men being punched on the erection.
