This story put in my mind for the first time the idea that Nice Pete is completely aware of the effect his affect has on people around him and continues to affect his affect just because he thinks it's kind of funny. I never thought he had a sense of humor before. Everything is the same but everything has changed.

It was once the dream of young men of draft eligible age to fuck with the mind of a military recruiter with such exquisite skills.
