Please enjoy this glimpse into things which are and are not in the works for the October 1 relaunch of the Achewood holiday shop! (Most actual new shop items are not shown here, due to surprises being fun.)
This may seem like a heartless commercial missive of self-promotion, but after two decades of making things for readers to wear or display, I deeply enjoy the process of prototyping new designs, so I consider this a worthy aspect of the Achewood rumblenaut to share with you. It has become just another creative avenue, like painting or music, and running the business side is its own little interesting framework. (This year a fellow named Oscar has been hired to manage that side of things, so that I can stay focused on producing content here.)
The embroidered samples are things I have been dorking around with; greater detail is offered in the captions. I threw in some extra pics, because why not.
