Halloween Sale 2018 statistics & comments

what an adventure! After a post from Poots on Twitter, the Halloween Sale should be in the morning. Since there are only 1 day between the post and the calculated start, one could assume that the given time is solid. But you all know Poots and timing (...) [- still waiting for the card pack and rule answers!] ... So the sale went up very late.

Nevertheless these were the Halloween 2018 releases:

 I have analyzed the data from October-31 to November-15.

Total Sales

11k individual products sold which results in about $386k sales. I take of my hat for the courage to build your own board game company with an amazing product which is so successfull! Good job! 

Sold Out Charts

Usually you would expect the First Runs to be sold out the quickest. This time the winner was Disciple of the Witch - One, which was sold out after 11:42 minutes. To be fair, the starting inventory was low (only 179 items).

The Azure Knight (First Run) was second after 14:59 minutes.

The other first runs Elder Scissor Knight (17:00 minutes) and Death High Preacher (Male) (21:13 minutes) followed.

Considering, that the email came about 5 minutes late, you only have a few minutes left to order, if you don't be able to use the Discord or SMS / Call service of White Speaker.

Restock?

Something new happend this sale: There was a restock, while the sale was running... This is the first time I ever saw that! The items sold out and after a short while, the inventory were increased again. One Patron mentioned, that this happened already last Christmas Sale with Holiday Nico. I can't confirm that, because I don't have any records of the Christmas Sale.

I don't see any logical business reason behind that. I assume either an artificial shortage of goods or selling items which are not available yet (pre sale)? Let me know in the comments, if you have any clue, why this would make any sense...

First Runs

As expected the First Runs went away very quickly.  Looking forward for the Black Friday Sale!

Encores

As mentioned already above, the Encores gone so quick, because the starting inventory was way below usual starting inventory...

Total overview

You will get 2 models on the Devil Satan for $50 and Poots sold 2850 of it. A perfect production assumption he made, considering the time it was needed to sold this thing out. The question will remain, why there was a restock?

Maybe he could sell a few hundreds Halloween Death Dice more too, which was a new release... 

On the other items he failed: The survivors were on sold already last year, so 2000 additional items were too much. Nevertheless you will have a chance next year, if you missed it this time. Similar situation on the Pinup Twilight Knight and White Speaker.

Bots?

The first order most likely seems to be:  Death High - Preacher (male) FR, Devil Satan, Azure Knight (FR) Halloween White Speaker, and 4x Halloween Death Dice. While 4 Dice were sold. This happened after 1:20 minutes. I assume it was a human and not a bot. First of all the time frame is quick, but possible! The 4 Death Dice seems to be very selective too.  Nevertheless, there was like 1 minute, where no sale happens. For me a sign of no bots.
