4C Omnath SB Guide (MH3) - June2024

I havn't posted in a while, but with MH3 being out i'm more excited about Modern than i was the whole last year. Here is my current 4C Omnath list with Delighted Halfling. With 2 new powerful 3 drops i think the best way to build 4C is with Halfling. Six is by far the card that impressed me the most from this set. It's crazy how good that card plays. Just wanted to write a quick update on what i’m up to lately.

I have not been enjoying Modern lately. Thought it gonna get better with the Outburst ban, but my interest in Modern still isnt where it used to be.

My interest in the format is on a steady decline since Yorion got banned. And took another big hit after Beans ban. I just didnt have much fun lately playing Modern and i can‘t come up with new deck ideas to brew around.

4C Keruga SB Guide - March2024

Violent Outburst got banned, which weakens 2 of our worst Matchups. (Living End/Rhinos) So, i beleve 4C Keruga is in a great spot right now. With Cascade decks beeing weakend i think we dont need dedicaded SBhate like Chalice or Dranith Magistrate anymore. In that spot i'm playing now 4 Force of Negation, which is not only great against Cascade, but also many other "Combo" decks like Tron or the new hotness Goryo Atraxa. Violent Outburst is finally banned in Modern. Now there is finally more space in the Sideboard for other cards. I'll work on an updated Keruga Sideboard Guide for this month before LMS Prague :)

MH3 waiting room

Sorry guys, i'm not posting a Sideboard Guide this month. I have not been enjoying modern lately. Been mostly playing Legacy and now that Vintage Cube season is back, im doing that. So the next time i'm playing Modern is probably at LMS Prague on March, 23rd. 

I feel this is importent for my own mental health, because if i see another Turn 1 suspended Crashing Footfalls i'll jump out of the window.

LEC Ghent update ✌🏼

Made Day 2. Started 5:1 and ended up 6:3 ✌🏼 kinda dissapointed, but still. Hope i can do a bit better tomorrow. My losses were 1x Rhinos and 2x Living End. I knew before that my Cascade matchup isnt great, but was hoping i can maybe get there with my 10sb cards vs Living End. Turns out i can‘t. Will have to figure out something for that matchups. 4C Keruga SB Guide jan2024

It's probably not as well positioned right now as it used to be, and i know if the plan is to win the RC i should probably play Rhinos, Yawgmoth or Scam. But i just cant bring myself to play those decks. Didnt have much fun playing Modern lately. Hope this meta changes soon.
