Fall Sale 2018 statistics & comments

Dear Patrons, it took a while, but here is the summary of the Fall Sale 2018.

Wow, what a sale...

New releases:

So, let us see, how the sale went. I have analyzed the data from September-24 to October-27:

First Wave First Run (first half hour)

As expected, the First Run items of ~500 each gone quickly. Scissor Knight was the first which were sold after 21 Minutes, followed by Royal Chambermaid (22 Minutes) and Death High Ringtail Vixen and Paladin (both 23 Minutes).

I would say the typical picture of First Runs.

Followed by the Druid of 31 Minutes, which was not First Run, but had a low stock of 500 items too.

Bots?

The first person bought Paladin (FR), Scissor Knight (FR), Sword Hunter Variant, Royal Chambermaid (FR), Death High Ringtail Vixen (FR) (+ maybe Fall Death Dice) in about 1:40 Minute. I assume it was a human and not a bot. First of all the time frame is quick, but possible! Second topic: Not only First Run was bought, but it was also Sword Hunter Variant, which is technically not tracked as First Run. A bot could not determine this very selective product.

Second Wave (first 12hours)

Paladin (2:20 hours) and Scissor Knight (2:43 hours) had both ~500 items as Encore version, next to the 500 First Run version, that is why they were sold out relatively quickly.

After that, Samurai Variant (9:42 hours) and Sword Hunter Variant (12:17 hours) were sold out. Both products hadn't had a First Run, but were new releases and had also ~1000 items each. If Adam would sell 500 FR and 500 Encores, it would be most likely to be sold out in 3 hours too, instead of 9 hours.

Third Wave (1 month later...)

Yeah, all of the other items remain in stock. Here is the total overview:

Highlights:

Death High Ringtail Vixen and Royal Chambermaid as Encore had 1400 items, next to the 500 First Run items. So both had in total 1900 items. They were not sold out and had at least 400 items still in stock. 

This tells me: The sweet spot for new products without cards as additional content is somewhere at 1200 items.

White Boxes:

No questions about it: Poots mentioned he will produce a lot to have it constantly in stock: Yes he did! All of them still has above 1200 items in stock! He only sold 20% of what he produced.

While the high demand products: Fade, Percival and Before the wall still have 50%+ in stock, to what he produced.

White Boxes were also sold in the UK (functioning as EU hub). The picture is very similar to the US supply. But he sends 500 items of each product over to the UK, while he had 1700 in the US. The only exception in the UK is Fade, which has only 20% left.

Now that the supply of the white boxes is far above the demand, I expect a discount campaign on the next Black Friday sale.
