Status of the SMS / Call Feature & Pricing

Current Status:

• Landing page: 100% (how could I have missed that before?)
• Logging: 100%
• Move to Website: 80%

I will run the beta testing with Satans Tiers at least for the website to configure everything profile related latest on Monday. As long as no cracks in the ground appears. The "live shop updates" are disabled currently and will go live, after the web site is running without any problems and everything is self explaining.

Current Status:

• Sign in: 100%
  You can register yourself to @White Speaker on a web page, once you are Patron.
• Log in: 100%
  Once you are registered, you can log into the web page access of @White Speaker.
• Config: 100%
  When you log in, you can configure your settings: On which locations do you want to be notified? Activate SMS and / or Call etc.
• Phone: 100%
  On the config page, you can add and verify your phone. You will get the phone number of White Speaker. Considering the rules mentioned in Update #2
• SSL: 100%
  The SSL supplier was not able to send me the SSL verification via email. I verified via DNS TXT entries ... what a mess. But finally solved!
• Proper logging: 50%
  The last important web page related topic, prior to the beta testing. Without proper logging I will not find any issues...
• Move Web Site to Server: 0%
  

With this said, the Satan Patrons Beta Access will follow soon. I'm nearly done for the first trial from your site! I will let you guys know, once this is done.

I'm still working on the Sign In / Log In / Config Page.

Current Status:

• Auth System: 90%
• Config Page: 90%
• SSL Certificate: Had a couple of phone calls with my server host. They neither find the issue why I don't receive the SSL key information. They gave me the contact details of the SSL certificate company. I was waiting for "the next free person" in the telefone line and were kicked out of the line after 60 minutes without talking to anybody, but listened to good queue line music meanwhile. I end up sending an email. Looking forward for the answer.

Just a quick one: I'm currently working on the website to set your configs. For this, I have to set up an Authentication system too. I have some ideas which I try to implement to make usability and set up as easy as possible.

Current status:

• Auth System: 70 % (Signin / Login)
• Config Page: 50% (User System)
• SSL Certificate: Waiting since a week. I have not recieved anything yet and opened a support ticket for this.

@White Speaker is fetching all phones and members and mapping each member to an phone. You should always be called from @White Speaker from the same number. Considering the rules mentioned in Update #2.

- 01.09.2018 Summary:

• FAQ's to SMS & CALL: Latest initiating call / sms after 9 seconds.
• @White Speaker is running on new server!

FAQ Details:
A question were raised in the comments with respect to SMS and CALL and I want to clarify and extend those questions here:

• @White Speaker is able to handle 'unlimited' calls and sms at the same time.
• She do not need to wait till someone is picking up the phone, nor has to wait till the first call is completed to call the next.
• There is one restriction from all network carriers: You can only initiate one call per second per phone.
  
  With this restriction I have to work around now and I plan to do following:  
  
  - $5 tier: 10 phone numbers per phone. Resulting in initiating* the call to the last person after 9 seconds (#1 in second 0 ... #10 in second 9).
  Compared to the sell out time of the first item which is round about 8 minutes, those 9 seconds should be fine.  
  
  - $16.66 tier: every Satan member will be on a separate phone and the notification will be initiated* at first (immediately).  

Let me know in the comments, if you think this approach is OK. I have updated the original price section below too.

*initiate Phase = Basically what you are doing on your phone. It starts by selecting the person you would like to call and ends with pressing the "call" button. The time which is needed by the carrier(s) to connect the phones to each other till it is ringing on the other site is not included and is out of my control.I had very little sleep the last couple of days

Bear in mind, that I have to script a phone pool now too :)

New Server:

I installed and configured already a couple of blanked servers to my needs, but this one took my last nerves. I had really little sleep meanwhile. The installation of my standard used packages throws undefined errors. Problems with DNS nameservers etc. Long story short: I was able to fix all of the problems I never faced before. She is running smoothly on the new server (no new updates included yet). I changed the major scripts of her too, that this is maching the new server configuration. I had deactivated the twitter module. I hadn't had time to fix this.

- 28.08.2018:
Added 2 videos as proof of concept in the attachments. I'm not able to upload and embed videos directly here, when it is not uploaded on YouTube. I have screencasted my phone to the PC-Monitor for this. I guess the "Shop-CALL-SMS" file would be the most interesting for you.I spent a lot of time on this feature already. It doesn't sound complicated, but in some areas, it is difficult to find any solution neither a simple solution. I want to make it for you also as simple as possible... I hope it will be as easy as I think.

Status

Here the simplified road map for the SMS and CALL feature:

• Done: Two factor authentication (2FA) - verify your code - once.
• Done: Save User to Database
• Done: Change Shop Module to track changes and locations.
• Done: Compare locations with each of your settings, you will be only notified for new available products according to your setting. You don't want to know, if another Gorm pop up in Australia? Change your regional settings and you won't be informed anymore. Awesome!
• Done: Buy phone
• Done: Send SMS --> new Shop Items according to settings.
• Done: Call Phone -->  Say (!) the new shop items. 
• Done: Order new hosting server
• Done: Fetch Patreon data, to check who you are and link your Patron Pledge to Discord.
• Done: Domain for White Speaker.
• Done: Set up new home for @White Speaker on new server.
• Done: Phone Pool to handle 10 persons per phone.
• Done: Create Settings Page, to make your changes.
• Done: Merge everything together (currently single modules)
• Done: Early Access for Satan Tier Patrons --> Beta testing

• Open: Short Introduction Tutorial.
• Open: Going live.

Pricing

I have made a lot of thoughts on the price structure and came to following conclusion:

• $3 Tier: WhatsApp, Email 
• $5 Tier: SMS, Call, WhatsApp, Email - Initiated within 10 seconds.
• $16,66 Tier (Satan): Everyone on a separate phone. SMS and Calls initiated immediatelly (at first).

While WhatsApp and Email is not included yet and might come on a later update (you will vote for this again at a later stage!), SMS and Call will be implemented soon.The service is not for free and can not be a free service, because I have direct costs involved. I don't know, how many SMS and Calls @White Speaker will send in the future. This is related to your settings and the update approach of the KD:M shop. On the other hand, I won't restrict anything like "a limited amount of SMS / Calls" or what so ever. The reason for this feature is to be informed quickly via different channels on the best service which is possible! Period!  Ever thought of following possibilities:

• Sitting in a meeting and have finally a reason to step out? "Hey! My wife is calling. I have to pick up the receiver and step out for a minute." You can either pick up the phone and @White Speaker will tell you, what new products arrived, or your read the SMS, which fly in in parallel. 
• Or sitting in the car, while your phone is connected to it: Listen what is new and decide then, to make a panic stop.

At the end of the day, the service must pay itself. The remaining money will be used for further maintaining and updates of @White Speaker - The basic reason for this Patreon! I hope you understand that and support me further.The free time I have spent already just on this feature is showing me, that I love to create something good for all of you. It is a project which makes a lot of fun to me. Your support is helping me and @White Speaker so much!
