"Hello Everyone!
I hope you all have been well and taking care of yourselves. I've wanted to update you letting you know the shows shall continue.
We've been studying languages, writing formats, drawing concepts, etc and I must say after uploading Roanapur Finale to YouTube we were... how do I put it? Burnt out? Spent? Whatever the term is nowadays. ^^;;
So, took that week to recharge and let the mind relax. It was perfect timing to hear the words "Pressure is a killer to Creativity." -DrawLikeASir
Same goes to you. If you are feeling a bit worn out please take care of yourselves and get some rest!
It was a good break. Was able to catch up on some tutorials and Marc Brunet put out a challenge this week I've been working on. Since having the new drawing pad I've finally pushed myself to dig into the basics. I've been putting out work thankfully but never fully grasped what it is I was doing as far as drawing goes.
I would understand you use shapes to make bodily forms and etc. But to finally get the flow of the pen onto the pad (or paper!) things started to make a lot of sense finally. It's nice to see how it all connects and honestly it was thanks to coming across this website called "PracticeDrawingThis.com"
It's a great practice site I've never heard of but perhaps you have! I highly recommend for just getting the hang of the fundamentals and seeing where you are as far as your line strokes, where you need to improve, etc.
I was hesitant to share because it's as if I'm starting at ground 0 again but I wanted to show what I've been working on in hopes that I can draw the girls better and begin to introduce comics/manga panels in the near future.
Gah! I wasn't supposed to say that.. but eh, I do not mind. It's fun! As always, we want to be sure to share our world with yours as much as possible, regardless of mediums.
The audios shall continue! Honestly we miss the performances T.T The stage has been empty for far too long and Liaison gets antsy when the curtains haven't been lifted for more than a week. So! Back to it!
But I wanted to say thank you all for your patience and giving me the chance to take time in learning other things to bring to the stage (or screen!).
I know we're not like other audio artists who do just audio and it can be a bit confusing on what it is we do here for newcomers.
So thank you for being here and helping us along this fun journey.
We appreciate you!
See you soon.
