Quick end of the month update

Okay, so, first off, let me just start with how fucking blown away i am by y'all. I've never seen this kind of interest in anything I've made before. I was impressed with the numbers i was drawing in before, seeing eyes eager for my art, but golly, there's been an unprecedented storm of new comers here excited to get their hands on Insatiable Hearts, which is making me feel a whole lot of things. ;;

I hope those of you who've tried it like it so far (and if you've had any trouble with that weird ass "[email protected]@" error tearing up my code, it should be fixed now. Apparently patreon was doing something to the raw htlm file, so i had to sock it in a zip file to fix it. Should be fine now, i think?)

Anyways. Uh, long story short. I'm real sorry there didn't end up being a monthly art piece this time. My busted wrist has just been garbage lately. Thought it was getting better for a bit there, but had an incident at work which inflamed it and its just, arts been a no go. I'm hoping to get back to drawing soon, I'd love to finish that piece I started lmao

I guess, the good news, the down time gave me more time to write and work on Insatiable Hearts and finally get a testable version out haha. Which brings me to how thats all going to work going forward!

So, long term, as nice as it is to see so many of you tossing precious dosh at this weird girl's little smut work, I want to make sure people know how the patter of development will work. When my wrist is good, I'm going to try to still do monthly art pieces. I'm working around that. Legit, no hard feelings if you want to bail on support if youre here for art. If you're not getting art, thats not a fair trade. I get it. If you're still around though, obviously I appreciate that and will try to get back to art as soon as i got the spoons ~

As for Insatiable Hearts, well, I'll say again, did not expect such a turn out, and I'll be shifting more focus to that going forward provided i have the energy. The way I'm planning on this working is basically, I'll work on the game from time to time when i can. Ya'll will be able to play it early, test things, suggest things, etc and when things are bug fixed and cleaned up and a stable version is read, I'll save it for a public release but keep working on the game on a new branch. So as I add new content and expand the game, we get first pick behind closed doors, the public gets a stable tested version of the game, both parties win ~

It'll cycle between stable and unstable as I dev. I think, it'll be an interesting dance and I want to give it a try and see what works best for our support model!

Either way, im so excited to see all of you here.

I got one last thing to mention though and that is that I'm going to be leaving for a little bit. Taking my one week vacation for the year, but im bringing my laptop with me so while i cant draw i might still get a little writing done for the game, I'll see. But just want to be transparent if you see a dip in communication for a week ~

And okay, well wait, theres one last bit of news. I don't know if this is the right place for it, but I figure, if youre all going to be a part of my creative process and following some aspects of my life, you might want to know a major thing thats going to influence it hahah. So, anyways, we're pregnant, my spouse and I. We just found out 2 days ago. We're, excited and scared. we've planned on being moms together for a while, but this is a bit ahead of schedule. We're going to make it work, but, its, a lot. Its fantastic, exciting, amazing, and its also anxiety inducing ahahah. It's still very early and we don't know if it will stick, so we're waiting a few weeks to confirm it survives, but uh, yeah, we're pregnant. It doesn't change much right now, but it does make me very motivated to do more and be more. so, haha, i think its a net benefit ahhah.
