mechanoid pathing tries to re-path every couple thousand ticks, so you can stick a colonist's head out for a second to make sure they correctly herd toward your deadfall killbox

sadly they changed it that mechanoids don't melt at high temperatures (even 1000 degrees C which makes no sense honestly) HOWEVER they made a change nobody told me about: in 1.0 deadfall traps work as they're meant to - which means THEY PRIORITIZE THE HEAD - a centipede can now be downed from as little as 4 wooden deadfall triggers because it cracks through and breaks the artificial brain
