v14 alpha
Added 2023-07-07 05:18:57 +0000 UTCHere's our first V14 alpha release. It enables you to allow and block devices and network interfaces via the web settings, and to decide whether they are blocked or allowed by default.
It's labelled alpha because there are more features to come, which will let you have custom shared folders for different renderers/devices. This is one of our most requested features with many possibilities, for example sharing a set of content with your family TV, then a different set with your bedroom TV, or custom content to your phone.
The files are for Windows and Linux. Let me know if you want it for another operating system and I'll add it.

We have some users using Synology NAS as storage, with a PC serving UMS. Do you mean you want to install UMS on the Synology itself? I can see a lot of topics on the UMS forums about that over the years but not sure if anyone got it working. Does the Synology support running regular programs, or does it have custom "apps"?
