I'm expecting the next release of Strange Gift to be out on January 14.

v0.12 will have a new "easy mode" -- some of the special events will be inaccessible in easy mode, but spells will be cheaper, making it easier to play around with them, and there will be some other changes to make the game easier.

I've added Isabella to the game, and some special mechanics related to her. Between now and release I'll be working on renders and scenes to support that addition, and to catch the Isabella character up with something close to the level of content for the other characters. v.0.13 will see a return to more broad improvement, but for now I have my hands full with Isabella. There are worse fates! :)
