I'm testing a variant that will let you choose between different ways to play the game. I know that some people don't like Aureus killing the girls -- to my mind it adds a sense of urgency to what you're doing, and makes your choices matter, and that's something I find desirable in a game. But not everyone is me, so there will be an option to turn that feature off.
