So a few people have asked for more information about my new project, and I thought I'd share a few comments about the game flow. Damsels is a roster/harem management game, with aspects of old school hack-slash fantasy adventure.
You start out with 4 women -- just enough for an adventuring party, but you can recruit one more a week if you have the money. You can send adventuring parties out to gather loot and magic items, and to get experience, but after they go out they have to rest for a week. If they die they can be resurrected, but that will cost you mana, and they will suffer a serious loss of affection for you and may eventually leave or demand extra payment if their affection gets too low. You can recruit more girls, but that costs money.
The magic items they have a chance to gather have the chance to give them increased sex drives and fetishes, as well as combat bonuses. I have a long list of fetishes I'd like to include in the game, but for the first release I'm focusing on Masochism, Submission, Exhibitionism, and Voyeurism.
Every day each girl has a chance, based on their current level of lust, to come to you for a little extra-curricular activity. As you might guess, the options will start out mild and work their way up. Fetishes also expand the possibilities -- Masochists will take pain, Exhibitionists can be persuaded to walk around naked, etc. The actions you take may increase their lust -- or may sate their lust and increase their affection for you, which may help open up increased options. Orgasms, yours or theirs, will help produce mana for you, which you will be able to use to cast spells, create items, or even open up new areas for the characters to adventure in.
Earlier this week I started playing with this and started to think it was getting to be fun. Today I actually lost myself in playing it for an hour. There's lots to be done... the above is a render for when you kiss one of the girls, but there are lots of renders to be done for the various sexy activities, I want more variety in the monsters, etc., but it's made good progress towards an eventual release.
