Phew, I'm very sorry for the wait everybody, but it's finally here!
Ah hell, yet another mirror. Back to Google Drive it is... Hopefully third time's the charm..?

An important warning: there is a character in one of the branches that is implied to have a potential eating disorder, so check the content settings if that's relevant to you!
I wasn't actually able to finish everything I wanted to for this release, but with the update already so far delayed, I decided to just finish up what little I had done and release at least this. You can check the patch notes to seek out specifically which events have been added.
You can expect a few smaller updates for the next month or two where I add continuations to existing plotlines that really should be here alongside the new part of the main quest. This is also the reason why this update only goes up to Day 20 Month 6, rather than going the full Month.
There is also a ludicrous amount of branching in all of the content that's been added, which is the main reason why it all took so long. However, that also means that it's very possible there are broken sequences for highly specific situations that I forgot to cover, so if you happen to run into any of these, please let me know!

(been having a lot of bad luck with getting tom to show up.) if youre scared about a player being able to grind that way, what if you made it so you cant save anymore if time stops looping?

2024-02-19 10:16:15 +0000 UTCFound out how to get to hammond's route yesterday (which is very well done, definitely made me feel corrupt lol) and I noticed some small glithes: If you choose to look at brody his sprite will persist on screen before and after the one sided battle in addition to the normal sprites And on a smaller note, if you make yourself lose hammond's battle and then retry from the game over screen, his status icons will duplicate but the battle plays the same

I loved it as always :) My save shows Month 6, Day 13 so I didn't have much time left haha (and I haven't lost a battle except the one against the second opponent in the forest in the beginning). I understand the intent but it would be nice to have a bit more time to not race against the clock and try to lose weight as quickly as possible (if I could I would just "advance time" to lose some weight faster, as I like the gym but not the running mini-game). Otherwise, it's been really fun to battle against the same characters who push themselves a little bit further, and against completely new characters with new cards. //SPOILER: The sequence with Norman at the pub where you don't get a choice on how much to order and he's giving in to his feeder instincts was the hottest of the update for me π₯΅ The countdown to the final battle with Norman (preventing you from losing too much weight before the battle) and the one-sided battles were great gameplay additions too!//

2024-02-09 00:41:55 +0000 UTCThe game keeps track of decimal points so that you don't get ripped off of weight loss if your FB isn't a whole number. For example: if on Day 1, you have 0.7 FB, nothing happens. Then on Day 2, say you have 0.5 FB. Added together with the previous day, that totals 1.2 FB so you will lose 1 Wgt, and to lose another point of Wgt, you will need 0.8 FB next.

2024-02-09 00:34:36 +0000 UTCCould you clarify how weight gain/loss is calculated? Because I'm assuming it's just the FB + temp, then rounding to the nearest whole number, but sometimes I gain/lose weight when it doesn't look like it should, or it is more than I expect.

A place to swim might be a good idea? Maybe make it like a left right mini game where you "paddle" with left and right buttons for it. Keeping pace with an endurance gauge or something. Going too fast can wear you out too quick. Going too slow doesn't burn as much fat. Something like that.

2024-01-30 19:05:02 +0000 UTCIn the fight against Ratko, the card that transforms an opponent's card into waddle is said to be only usable once. However, he uses this card very liberately, and I ended up having a game with 4 or 5 waddle cards π Is that a bug?

The second Arnold fight takes a while to show up, because he takes quite a while to lose weight from the first fight before it can be triggered, so that should be working as intended!

2024-01-30 10:33:23 +0000 UTCHope you've been well, I think I found some bugs: Carver didn't drop an energy drink when I beat him. I was able to collect x2 corruption from Brody if I won the battle, hid the dialogue, and clicked the "stop" option that was still available. I also think Arnold fight 2 only becomes available after finishing all of MQ3, instead of opening up after the suspect selection. All that said, thanks for all the work you've put into this!

2024-01-30 10:27:37 +0000 UTCYeah the fact you're against he clock is an issue as each main story fight of feeding event leaves you at a high level of weight, and losing takes ages even after your have levelled your gym up to a high point, when your knocked back to 53 weight going to the gym does next to nothing as you can only play like 3 cards before you run out of stamina

But I agree that the grinding part of losing weight slowly, or going to look for this shedbeast every day is not my favorite part of the game, especially when you know you have a limited time until the game stops π really interesting for the added challenge though that the last few kilos are the hardest to lose! I've decided to take most of the fights at 18-20 weight because it was too slow to lose weight below that threshold and I'm glad I did!

I've been trying to make it work for a while, but the bottom line is, it's just an incredibly awkward and unnatural way for that to work, so I will probably change his available day to only a single one.

Tbh I don't really fret about getting my characters weight down, it seems moot for the effort that you put into it because of the energy bonus you get at higher weights. It seems like making the effort to get to a lower weight for days is pointless when you get blasted during the early stages of a fight because you can't mount an adequate defense against an enemy who can spam you with +9 weight in the first round. It's a lot of effort to get it low for what I consider no payoff.

2024-01-28 02:24:21 +0000 UTCAmazing update loved every bit, especially the dominate Arnold scene! one bit of personal feedback is about the drop rate of the Shedbeast root, I found I went into the woods everyday and almost never got it, in fact in a full run though I only got one, which when you combine how you also need to be gathering lots of fish and lots of fitness to even combine it makes it a tad hard to achieve, perhaps making it easier to make would give players the option of changing their weight so they can focus on other aspects of the game.

After the encounter from when you choose three men at the pub, every time I go back it just says I forgot to look for Norman's attacker. I'm up to day 13 and it's the same thing each time. Does my character have early onset dementia?

2024-01-27 05:27:13 +0000 UTCThe age options were just added as a detail, as I found myself thinking while writing dialogue: how old is the player, and how differently would x character treat them based on that? So far there aren't any radical differences though. The they/them pronouns were added for people who use those pronouns. There may be a character in the future that brings it up, but so far the game just inserts the appropriate pronouns where they appear without any other differences.

I didn't notice any sorts of obvious changes when I chose things like Senior or Young Man...do you see these things as affecting the appearance of your character in future updates, or will they affect gameplay in someway, or both? Same for the he/they options. I am impressed with the gameplay overall...I've really learned to think about different deck styles to play with, and used to simply bash the other guy with as many Feed and Dinner for 2 cards as I could.

2024-01-26 23:32:30 +0000 UTCThere's a very crudely written "Guides" folder included in all of the links, that has simple text notes on all of the storylines, including where they currently stop, all the branching and any interesting potential extra dialogue or scenes. To repeat, they are very hastily written, as they are actually notes I wrote for myself so that I could keep track of the overall structure and pathing of each story! However, if anyone would be interested in possibly creating a wiki, you have my full approval, and I would even be happy to answer any questions!

I haven't played this update yet but in the last one sometimes felt like I was missing parts of the game... Which is great though since it's what makes the game enjoyable to play again, so you can find everything!

Lots of different branching paths from dialogue interactions, the results of your battle with Cedric, and of course, the ultimate encounter at the end of the investigation. Very challenging battles, which fattened my character at a terrifying pace. The addition of the Shedbeast potion is a very welcome respite from the gym/jog grind (provided you have sufficient Class C fish!).

When you're fattening Brody, it says the first two weight that you make him gain are ignored, but if you use a card that makes him gain 2 or more weight the game treats it like it's only 1 weight. Unless this is intentional, in which case I would suggest changing the wording to first two offensive cards are ignored instead of weight.

It's exciting to see it's planned, and ultimately trust your judgement in best way to implement cause everything's been great so far. Because of the varied nature of the game's dialogue such as branching, flags and variables, as well as some scenes actually being seperated into multiple files, I can't just simply throw all of the dialogue files into a menu to scroll through. Because of this, I will likely have to hand-pick scenes based on what stands out, or what people would want to see. Either way, it's going to take quite some effort to make it work, but I definitely want to implement something like that in the future!

Man is still very cute (especially his picture with the cat!), looking forward to see what else happens with him. In regards to the overall story, I was very engaged and was making my own little deductions throughout, haha! I like all the choices we get on who to fight or follow. Wondering if a in-game "cutscene gallery" would be cool to help people keep track of unique fights or interactions they missed (I know some people were quite the fan of a certain Russell scene last build for example). Though the notepads make a lovely substitute at the moment to help people find everything especially as the game gets developed! In summary, loved it, had no issues or bugs to report. Thanks for all the work you put in <3!

Spoilers below: I'm having a hard time deciding if I want to beat Norman for his watch or let him feed me to that sweet sweet Wgt 56. Can you confirm or deny if you can pick up one from him if you didn't get the other in a future update? Also looking forward to what you'll do with that corruption I got for fattening Brody. Hopefully we'll be able to see him at the gull. And I'm also looking forward to seeing the MC at 60, or even 64 if it's in the works in the far future.
