I feel the tweet about birthdays at least as a man there have been alot of years I’ve woken up to my birthday only to realize that it’s been another year of working to be the provider I’ve always wanted to be or just surviving the world and navigating emotion so while I do feel like life should be celebrated there are many times I realize that I’m so caught up in trying make it through that I forget to enjoy the journey that brought me to the finish line

Trying to convince someone to agree with you is an overextension of yourself. Y’all have your own experiences and ways of intaking information. Your own perspectives. So in order for anyone to truly understand you is if they want to understand you. Opinions aren’t changed in arguments is another way to put it. You have to focus on you if you want to change perspective, as it’s the only thing you can truly control.

Expect the worst from *anyone* is much different than expected the worst from *everyone* One is to understand that any human has the capability to harm you, even people who you trust. I think this is best exemplified in the fact that most kidnapping is done by a family member. Where the other is telling you to distrust everyone you come across. Often people ignore red flags and their own intuition because they believe someone close is incapable of hurting them, and by the time they have that realization, it's already too late

2026-02-16 22:31:15 +0000 UTCso real this is life now but we can always fight it , its just hard to not give into what modern life is now :-/ kids now are more prone to dementia and alzheimer’s (in their later years) because of phone usage we need to read more, learn more, and realize we have control over our own lives. not gonna lie though we are all victims to modern life i realized i have tech neck and bro lol immediately got into stretching, exercise, and yoga 😭 its kind of scary how life is now and im only 23.
