MLP - Octavia as Mai Shiranui (WIP)
Added 2019-11-15 11:54:09 +0000 UTCThere's been recently a lot of fanart about Mai Shiranui, one of the characters of the Fatal Fury fighting game. That was because Masahiro Sakurai, the creator of Kirby and Super Smash Bros, said that she won't be a guest in Super Smash Bros Ultimate. So I thought I could make a fanart. My first thought was instantly Octavia as the cosplayer of the Mai Shiranui dress because of the dark color of her hair.
Originally, the right breast of Octavia had some different scratches. It didn't feel the weight or how her dress would hold her breast. So I changed it by copying the left breast on a different layer, switch sides and then adjust it by using the mouse. Then I cleaned the rest by using a simple brush and some vectors. It took me 30 minutes, but I think it worked.
This drawing obviously needs more details. I'll add:
-Blushed face
-Refined details for her clothes
-Some dialogue with Vinyl Scratch
"Vinyl, where's my underwear for this cosplay?!"
"What underwear?"
-Details for her eyes
-Shadows
-Occlusion adjustments
-Color balance
-A different brush or texture for the white background
If I don't have any problems, this will be ready for tonight. Sorry that I didn't post this earlier, I have a recent painful backache that doesn't help me. Hopefully I'll get better next week.
